I am a lecturer, researcher, and consultant in the field of business intelligence, business analytics, and data science. I currently work as an assistant professor in Business Analytics at the Tilburg University (my Tilburg webpage). At the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM) I am involved in:
- the International Master in Management of IT (IMMIT),
- the International Master Information Technology for Enterprise Management (ITEM), and
- the Master Information Management (IM).
In the past, I worked as an assistent professor Econometric Institute of the Erasmus University Rotterdam and for the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) of the Leinden university as a researcher and developer.
My specializations are in:
- multi-dimensional OLAP databases. My PhD research is on extending these databases for explanatory business analysis. A copy of my dissertation can be found at the Erim Phd Series.
- datawarehouse solutions with various software solutions and database platforms.
- business applications of data mining, big data analysis, and business analytics.
